http://www.kestrelbicycles.com/ While it hasn’t gotten much time out on the open road thanks to an especially brutal New England winter, it’s seen more than its fair share of Compu-Trainer time and so far, the results have me smiling! Some wattage PRs at some recent ITTs are good indications that the Kestrel Airfoil SE and I are getting on just fine….and we’ve only just begun.
I will be honest….I was nervous changing bikes. I am a creature of habit; a believer in the "if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it" philosophy. Certainly, I felt I’d ridden my old bike pretty well. I will admit, however. I was wrong. Even something that ain’t broke can be made better. I think I’ve done that with the Kestrel Airfoil SE.
Check out my new bike. I think you’ll agree, I am incredibly more aero on the Airfoil. Todd Kenyon from TTBikeFit.com and my mechanic extraordinaire, Brian Hughes from Fast Splits ( http://www.fastsplits.com/ ) have encouraged me to take advantage of the greater latitude the Kestrel offers in terms of my position. What amazed me most; I am more comfortable. Good thing, too because the weather is finally starting to turn and I’ll be spending lots more juicy time with my new BFF; my Kestrel Airfoil SE!

I’ve been on my new Kestrel for a little over a month now.
